      OX-MSC512 is a PCI based peripheral controller. It supports dual channel high-performance serial ports, dual enhanced IEEE 1284 compatible parallel ports, and ISA style interfaces. OX-MSC512 is highly suitable for desktop PC applications, such as PCI add ons for high-speed serial/parallel port expansion.

The PCI interface of OX-MSC512 fully complies with the PCI local bus specification version 2.3.

The on-chip serial port of OX-MSC512 supports extended 16C550 UART mode and supports serial speeds up to 16Mbps.

OX-MSC512 provides 256 byte deep transmit and receive FIFOs for each UART.

4. Deep FIFO can achieve high serial speed/throughput and reduce CPU utilization.

5. Each serial port is compatible with industry standard 16C550 devices, including standard COM ports for industrial PCs.
