OX-MSC622 is a PCI-E to two port RS-485/422 serial port card that can convert single ended PCI-E signals into RS-485/422 signals. It is equipped with a fast transient suppression protector designed to protect the RS-485/422 interface and uses advanced TVS tubes. Under normal circumstances, the TVS tube is in a high group state. When the two ends of the TVS tube are subjected to instantaneous high-energy shocks, it can quickly reduce the impedance at both ends, absorb a large current, and clamp the voltage at both ends to a predetermined value, protecting the subsequent circuit components from damage caused by transient high-voltage shocks. This protector can effectively suppress lightning and ESD, provide 600W lightning surge protection for signal lines, and prevent surges and transient overvoltages caused by various reasons on the line. The extremely small inter electrode capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of RS-485/422.
