OX-321D optoelectronic isolation repeater, compatible with RS-422 and RS-485 standards, can extend the communication distance of RS-422/RS-485 bus network, increase the number of RS-422/RS-485 network devices, built-in optoelectronic isolator and DC/DC isolation module, can provide up to 2500Vrms isolation voltage, and the interface is equipped with fast transient voltage suppression protectors at both ends. This protector is designed to protect the RS-422/RS-485 interface and uses the advanced TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) transient voltage suppressor. Under normal circumstances, the TVS tube is in a high impedance state. When the TVS tube is subjected to instantaneous high-energy impact at both ends, it can reduce its impedance at a very high speed and absorb a large current. Thereby clamping the voltage at both ends to a predetermined value, protecting the subsequent circuit components from damage caused by transient high voltage surges. This protector can effectively suppress lightning and ESD, providing 600W lightning surge protection power per line, as well as surge voltage and transient overvoltage generated on the line due to various reasons. The extremely small inter electrode capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of RS-422/RS-485 interface. The RS-422 and RS-485 input terminals are connected through terminal connectors. The RS-422 and RS-485 output terminals are connected through terminal connectors. The converter has zero delay automatic transmission and reception conversion inside, and a unique I/O circuit automatically controls the direction of data flow without any handshake signals (such as RTS, DTR, etc.). It does not require jumper settings to achieve full duplex (RS-422) and half duplex (RS-485) mode conversion, and is plug and play.
The OX-321D optoelectronic isolation interface converter can provide reliable connections for point-to-point and point to multipoint communication. Each relay can connect 128 RS-422 or RS-485 interface devices from point to multipoint, with a data communication rate of 300-115.2KBPS.
